Coasteering is the seaside equivalent or saltwater cousin of Canyoning and involves traversing along cliff-lined coasts, scrambling up and down rocks, inlets and coves as waves crash into the rocks below, cliff jumping into the sea, swimming with and against the tide and sometimes if you're lucky, spotting some unique wildlife.

In short, it's one of the most fun things you can do whilst dressed in neoprene!

This activity is best done in supervised groups, both for safety reasons and because of the great 'craic' you'll have with your friends.

Coasteering is fairly new to these shores, though it's growing in popularity all the time. From Fife, with it's interesting Elie Chain Walk (a coastal via ferrata) to Fair Isle, Scotland's complex rocky coastline is crying out to be clambered upon.
