We are a completely mobile outdoor activity company with our headquarters situated near Inverness. We come to you. We use numerous venues throughout the Highlands to provide activities such as canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, gorge walking, canyoning, archery, mountain biking, hill walking, weaselling, winter mountaineering, telemark and cross country skiing and snowboarding.

Our experienced, hand picked team of instructors will make sure you have a brilliant time.

What we do best:

At Boots n Paddles we do both gorge walking and canyoning. The main difference between the two is that canyoning involves some roped and more extreme sections, like abseils and big jumps whereas gorge walking is just as much fun but without the exposure and roped parts involved in canyoning.

Both activities involve plunging into deep pools of exhilarating mountain water and slithering and sliding down fantastic rock chutes and slabs.

Gorge walking is a good choice for a first experience of this type of activity and is also more suitable for family and larger groups. Canyoning is a much more committing experience and would suit parties that have perhaps done gorge walking in the past or are looking for the ultimate in adventure.

We have a variety of venues both north and south of Inverness.
