We are Scotland's National Outdoor Training Centre. Our role is to 'inspire adventure' by making adventure sports accessible, affordable, safe and fun.

We provide top instructors and equipment for beginners, intermediate and advanced. We are located in the heart of the Cairngorms and are in easy reach of all the best adventure venues in Scotland.

All food, accommodation, instruction, equipment and in course transport is provided as part of the course fee.

The main attractions at the Lodge have always been the magnificent mountains, rivers, forests and lochs of the Scottish Highlands but now, thanks to sportscotland investment, we have great indoor facilities as well.

The lodge offers the widest range of outdoor adventure sports training in Scotland including: scrambling, mountain biking, winter mountaineering, ice climbing, rock climbing, hill walking, skiing and ski-touring, river kayaking, sea kayaking, surf kayaking and open (Canadian) canoeing.

What we do best:

Skye is the ultimate scrambling venue and after a week exploring the ridges you?ll be ready to take on equivalent terrain anywhere in the UK. The course covers route choice and scrambling techniques in both ascent and descent. The accommodation is comfortable bunkhouse style, catering is provided.
