The Highland Off-Road centre is situated in the delightful Perthshire village of Dunkeld, set between the historical ruins of Dunkeld Cathedral and the luxurious Dunkeld House Hotel.
The centre is only 12 miles north of Perth and boasts a 280 acre site, with access to 5000 acres of wild Highland estate.
Highland Off-Road has been in operation for 12 years and has a four-star activity centre rating from the Scottish Tourist Board, as well as a bronze green tourism award.
What we do best:
Off-Road Driving: We offer off-road driving sessions hourly, 3 hourly or for a full day - these are done in either our Land Rover Discovery, Defender or Freelander vehicles. (Please note we have included the prices if you wish to use a Range Rover/Sport).
Half Day Familiarisation Course (2 - 2½ hours): You will recieve a briefing before taking to your vehicle, where your instructor will point out some details and answer any questions you may have.
The instructor will give a short demonstration drive before you take the wheel. The drive covers our forest tracks in the grounds of the Dunkeld Hilton House Hotel.
Full day (6 hours): The morning session is as above. In the afternoon you will be taken into Atholl Estates - Rotmell Wood - where the tracks are more challenging and you can enjoy some magnificent scenery.
You will arrive back at the centre at about 4.15.
