Raceland leisure karting centre is the only venue in the UK that can offer both an International outdoor karting circuit, and a superb indoor karting venue, at the one location. Established in 1990 by Tom & Janice Cameron and situated just 25 minutes from Edinburgh¿s Princes Street, Raceland offers the exhilarating thrills of motorsport participation at a unique venue, set in a superb rural location. Raceland are members of the National Karting Association.

What we do best:

Leisure Karting For Most Ages & All Abilities - Raceland has karts and karting sessions to suit most ages from 8yrs (min height 4ft 2ins) through to 50yrs+, from individuals to large groups (up to 100 drivers), from total novices to enthusiasts.

Private Outdoor Race Events For Groups with 70mph twin-engine pro-karts on offer on a 930metre fully floodlit outdoor International circuit this is the ultimate karting experience - extreme karting if you will!

Private Indoor Race Events For Groups - Ideal venue for an introduction to pro-karting is Raceland's 27,500sqft indoor circuit, with comfortable amenities the superb all-weather amenity is second to none in Scotland, and with 40mph single-engine pro-karts the thrill is truly exciting.

Practice Sessions For Individuals & Smaller Groups - Ideal way for adult (16yrs+) visitors to experience the thrills of karting without the requirement to be part of a group. These sessions are available on either the indoor or outdoor circuits most days.

Children's Party Groups - Suitable for private groups of children, up to maximum 8 drivers aged between 8yrs and 15yrs (min height 4ft 2ins), with ample tuition and optimum safety.

Karting Lessons & Membership - Great way for young drivers to start on the motorsport ladder, with 6hrs of karting lessons and annual membership young drivers can practice and race regularly at the centre. Suitable 8yrs to 15yrs (min height 4ft 2ins)

Available packages

Outdoor Practice sessions for individual adults from £25/person for 2 x 10min drives.

Indoor Practice sessions for individual adults from £15/person for 2 x 10 min drives.

Outdoor Group events for adults from £600 for up to 12 drivers (off-peak).

Indoor Group events for adults from £480 for up to 16 drivers (off-peak).

Kids Party Groups indoors from £160/hr (up to 8 drivers) ¿ age & height as above.

Our prices are fully inclusive of all equipment; Kart, Kart racesuit, crash helmet & gloves.

What do I need to wear?

We recommend comfortable layered clothing and strong shoes or trainers (not sandals or high heels).

What do I need to bring?

We supply all equipment, and our diner is available throughout events for hot & cold snacks & beverages.

When can I do it?

Raceland is open 7days/week, 52weeks/yr - every day except 25th Dec, 26th Dec and 1st Jan.

After your karting session there are ample pubs, beaches and other local attractions nearby.
