Looking for fun, adventure, challenges on the Scottish rivers and lochs or on the mountains and crags this summer. Then look no further than Snowgoose!
What we do best:
Introduction to kayaking courses from 1-3 days either on one of many progressive, inspirational, well structured, predated courses. Or come with a group of friends to suit your own availability dates, the group¿s aspirations, needs & budget. At the end of a few days¿ kayaking at this level you should be able to independently take part in a short kayak journey on easy water. No previous experience is required; you should be reasonably fit and happy to spend a full day in the outdoors.River Runners An ideal progression for those who have mastered the basic skills and paddling in a straight line in a kayak! An introduction to white water kayak skills on local rivers grade 1-3 over 2-5 days.
White Water River Day Tours 1 day tours on local rivers Grade 2-3. A really brilliant confidence builder for those who have paddled some white water before who want a 'crash' course with an introduction to the exciting rivers of the area.
Rapid River & Rough Waters Paddlers 2-5 days on really white water for those who are already confident paddlers & ¿rollers¿ in white water - or wish to become more so! These are best done when we have more water in the local rivers - in the Spring or Autumn ¿ on water grade 3-5. We also offer a river guiding service to those who are unfamiliar with rivers in the area. With a high input, dedicated & reduced instructor to student ration plus well-qualified & experienced staff, progress & safety is ensured.
Progressive Activity Skills Days & Programs for Groups 1 - 5 days. Specific kayak skills training directed at maximum enjoyment & ¿fun¿ along with improving confidence & competence on the rivers. With high input, dedicated & reduced instructor to student ratios plus well-qualified specialist instructors, progress is ensured.
Outdoor Discovery & Explorer Programs & Camps for Clubs, Groups, Schools, Community Groups & Colleges. 3 - 8 days. Specially designed paddlesports exploration & development skills programs which focus on learning how to live often in remote or wilderness locations, sometimes unsupported and mainly self propelled.
