Vertical Descents is a modern outdoor centre, based near Fort William in the West Highlands, meeting the needs of all clients from families to outdoor enthusiasts.

This company offers challenging, memorable and high quality outdoor activity days and breaks, giving everyone and anyone the opportunity to discover landscapes out of reach by normal means and experience the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

What we do best:

Like Bungee with a swing. Nerves of steel and a head for heights. All necessary safety equipment is supplied and our guides give encouragement before you take the biggest leap of faith!

We are located in the village of Inchree, midway between Ben Nevis and Glen Coe. Inchree is situated 8 miles south of Fort William and 5 miles north of Glencoe Village. For further directions visit Vertical Descent's website directly.

Try your hand at a range of exciting outdoor activities for your next holiday. Whether you choose a 2, 3, or 5 days holiday, you will have the opportunity to have a go at a range of activities, have a fabulous time and leave feeling like a super being, pretty exhausted but well entertained. Absolutely everyone is welcome, from large social groups, sports clubs, families and friends to stag and hen parties. Minimum age is 12yrs for Bridge Swing - no maximum age, it¿s attitude that counts!

Equipment provided?

All specialised equipment is provided, including wet suits, harnesses, helmets, buoyancy aids etc.

What do I need to wear?

The nature of Vertical Descents activities will require clothing that is warm and you would not mind it getting wet.

What do I need to bring?

Foot wear to get wet. Swim Wear and a change of clothes for afterwards.

When can I do it?

Weather and water permitting - all year round. If it is too cold in the winter months trips may be postponed!
