Vertical Descents is a modern outdoor centre, based near Fort William in the West Highlands, meeting the needs of all clients from families to outdoor enthusiasts.

This company offers challenging, memorable and high quality outdoor activity days and breaks, giving everyone and anyone the opportunity to discover landscapes out of reach by normal means and experience the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

What we do best:

Paddle and learn from some of the best boaters in Scotland on their local burns. They will take you to the water and show you the techniques involved in steep creeking, effective scouting, chase boating and safety techniques for you to get more out of your river running.

Our creek boat workshops will give you the confidence and skills to look after yourself and your friends on the river.

Workshops are tailor made to suit group needs, depending on your style and ability we guarantee you will leave having nailed your line with a happy landing and big grin.
