Wilderness Scotland offers walking, sailing, sea-kayaking, canoeing, mountain-biking and ski-mountaineering adventure holidays in the wild places of Scotland. From hotel-based walking holidays to multi-day sea kayaking expeditions around the islands, our trips venture into Scotland's most pristine and beautiful wilderness areas, providing our clients with an unforgettable experience.

You will experience oustanding scenery, stay in some wonderful places (be it small hotels or wild camps), enjoy sumptuous local produce and learn about the Highlands through stories shared by our knowledge guides. You can also be assured that your holiday has been designed in an environmentally sensitive manner - we hold the Gold Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

What we do best:

Mountain-Biking: Scotland is one of the world's premier destinations for mountain-biking and the good news is that the best tracks are still relatively undiscovered! The Outer Hebrides offers world class mountain-biking without the crowds - a real wilderness experience and a must for any keen biker. We also run short biking breaks to the Cairngorms, with its renowned single track routes (and plenty of distilleries too!). If you really want a challenge, join our Coast to Coast route, travelling through the mountains by mountain bike and finishing at a West Highland Inn - have a paddle in the sea before your pint! No mountain biking experience is needed for these trips although a good level of fitness is required for the Coast to Coast Challenge and the Outer Hebrides trips.
